PUBG And Street Fighter V Are September’s Free PS Plus Games
Sony has revealed the free games PS Plus members will get this September, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Street Fighter V.
Sony will be giving out the original version of Street Fighter V, not the newer Arcade or Champion Editions. “It sports a wonderful, diverse cast of characters, places a clear emphasis on strong fundamental play, it gives competitive players a great online experience, and it does it all while looking gorgeous. Strictly in terms of mechanics and competitive features, Street Fighter 5 is just about peerless, but it has quite a ways to go before it stacks up against other fighting games – including its own predecessor – in terms of overall content,” said IGN’s Vince Ingenito in his review of Street Fighter V.

IGN’s Chloi Rad said, “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has taken the military-sim gameplay popularized by games like ARMA and DayZ, boiled it down to its most exciting parts, and streamlined it into quick and accessible rounds of pure, hassle-free, survival-based action.” But of course, PUBG has changed tremendously since launch.
Players can still grab this month’s free PS Plus games, Fall Guys and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.
